Regular building maintenance is essential to maintaining a watertight building envelope. DLC is often retained to provide facility roofing evaluations to understand necessary components and/ or systems that need repair or replacement. As an example, Clark County has retained DLC for maintenance related roofing projects for several key facilities throughout the County. Existing roofing systems and conditions were evaluated and tested and recommendations were documented and detailed. Jurisdictional permit approvals were obtained and documents publicly bid for recover/roof overlay or complete tear off with new roofing and flashing systems. DLC worked with the County Facilities personnel and selected contractor to observe actual construction for conformance to documents and specifications.
